Cross rhyme
- When a syllable at the end of one line rhymes with a word in the middle of a line before or after it
- Examples
The sound flung on the air
The song is sung

Feminine rhyme
- A rhyme that matches 2 or more syllables
- For example, 2 syllable words that rhyme
- Final syllable is unstressed
- Also Known As: Double rhyme
- Examples
- passion-fashion
- treasure-pleasure
- painted-tainted
Light Rhyme
- Rhymes an accented syllable with an unaccented syllable
- Examples
- distress / angriness
- west / conquest
